Compass Associates was exclusively mandated in the search to fulfil a number of senior appointments within a Primary and Urgent Care Services Provider.

This primary and urgent care services provider had previously worked with Compass Associates a number of years ago and was impressed with the level of service and professionalism previously provided. Now that the provider was looking to expand its services, they were also looking to expand its clinical team. The client contacted Compass Associates to support mandating the search for this additional team build. As the client does not have the facilities for in-house recruitment, the client offered to work with Compass associates on an exclusive basis.

The initial process started with Compass Associates obtaining a clear brief from the provider to ensure that the team could find the best possible candidates for their requirements. The provider was initially looking for three Clinical Directors to focus on urgent care. Two of these were needed on a permanent basis, the third one was needed on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. The client was very particular about the kind of candidate profile they were looking for in these vacancies to ensure that the successful candidate was a good fit within the team. This ensured that Compass Associates took a meticulous approach in fulfilling this particular brief.

Once a brief was agreed upon, Compass Associates created a search for suitable candidates within a commutable radius. A total of eight candidates were put forward for a three-stage interview process. This involved an initial telephone interview with the CMO, followed by a formal interview with the senior management team along with a pre-interview task, and a final formal interview with the CEO.

Two out of the eight candidates were offered the Clinical Director positions and accepted accordingly. Despite not being able to offer all the candidates the Clinical Director level positions, the client was impressed with all candidates provided by Compass Associates. This led to them creating Lead GP positions for four of them which saw three of them accept these positions accordingly. The third Clinical Director position is currently in the process of completion but due to the high level of quality candidates provided by Compass Associates, the provider has also created a fourth Clinical Director position due to the skill set of one of the candidates.

The overall turnaround process was approximately six weeks from the initial approach from the client to all candidates accepting the role.
