Job Title: ADHD Prescriber (Home-Based) - Full or Part Time

Hours: Permanent – Full-time or Part-time (minimum 24 hours / 3 days per week)

Location: Remote (UK-based) with occasional attendance at meetings

Salary: £61,000 (FTE) plus £1,000 home-working allowance per annum

Role:

As an ADHD Specialist Independent Prescriber, you’ll play a vital role in providing safe, effective, and patient-centred ADHD care. Working closely with Consultant Psychiatrists and reporting into the Titration Team Lead, you will independently prescribe, titrate and monitor ADHD medication in line with NICE guidelines and company policies.

This is a highly autonomous role where you will manage a caseload of patients, ensuring continuity of care through titration and long-term treatment management. You’ll conduct reviews, provide clear and supportive communication via the secure digital platform, and work collaboratively within an expert multidisciplinary team to drive excellence and innovation in ADHD care.

Candidate Requirements:

We’re looking for qualified clinicians with prescribing rights and direct ADHD prescribing experience. You will need to be either:

A Registered Nurse (RMN, Adult, Children’s, or LD Nurse) with V300 Independent & Supplementary Prescribing qualification, plus at least 1-year post-prescribing experience in a specialist ADHD service.

OR

A Registered Pharmacist with Non-Medical Prescribing qualification and at least 1 year of specialist ADHD service experience.

You’ll also bring:

• Confidence in managing ADHD patients (medication initiation, titration, review & long-term care).
• Strong IT/digital literacy skills for remote practice.
• Excellent communication and risk management skills.
• A collaborative, patient-centred approach and commitment to continuous professional development.
