About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established MSK physiotherapy team in a dynamic and progressive environment. You will be based in London and expected to work across various sites, so a willingness to travel is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for patients with complex presentations, using advanced clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis skill
• Deliver evidence-based treatment plans, incorporating advanced therapeutic techniques, and request/interpret diagnostic imaging as needed
• Work autonomously, with the ability to refer patients to other healthcare professionals where appropriate
• Collaborate with consultants, GPs, advanced practitioners, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care
• Provide expert education, advice, and self-management strategies to empower patients in making informed decisions about their care
• Conduct same-day consultations and treatments, including ultrasound imaging and guided injections

• Support the training and professional development of both physiotherapists and advanced practitioners

Key Requirements

• HCPC and CSP registration (current)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an MSK setting
• Proficient in diagnostic ultrasound and injection therapy
• IRMER trained
• Experience in referring patients for orthopaedic surgery or specialist surgical opinions
• Evidence of postgraduate education (e.g. Level 7 qualifications) in a relevant area
• Experience mentoring or training physiotherapists
• Independent prescribing qualification (desirable but not essential)

Working Pattern

This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week). The service operates Monday to Saturday, with flexible scheduling and the option to work a condensed four-day week.
