Compass Associates are currently assisting in the search for an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join our clients team in Bedfordshire.
Our client is part of a private healthcare group consisting of hospitals and clinics who have previously won “Private Hospital Group of the Year” in LaingBuisson Awards. They offer a full range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services to both private and NHS patients.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will need to be a fully qualified, highly experienced Physiotherapist with a current registration to the HCPC and CSP. This post involves working in a busy MDT outpatient department, alongside other Advanced Practice Physiotherapists, Sonographers, Physiotherapists and Podiatrists.
The post holder will be seeing patients from aged 16-100 with various MSK complaints, along with seeing, diagnosing, requesting diagnostics and referring onto other specialties, Pain, Rheumatology and Injecting when required.
This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week, although part time can be considered. Monday to Friday only between 8am to 6pm. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Requirements
- At least 5 years in MSK setting
- Used to requesting diagnostics
- IRMER trained
- Used to referring on for Orthopaedic surgery or surgical opinion.
- Training other Advanced physiotherapists and physiotherapists.
- Undergoing level 7 studies in relevant area
- Injection therapy would be an advantage
- Independent prescribing is optional but beneficial
- Diagnostic U/S is beneficial but optional.
Please note there is an option for a split post between FCP and APP.
