Requirements:             

- Current Registered Manager of an elderly care home

- Good track record with Care Inspectorate

- Passion for elderly care            

- Excellent staff management skills  

- Nurse qualified – preferred

The Role                      

Compass Associates are working with a private elderly care provider who operate a remit of care homes across Scotland and are now looking for a new Home Manager to oversee the day to day operations for one of their services in Glasgow. Due to a recent vacancy, they are looking for a new Home Manager to lead a large care home based in West Glasgow that has a good history with the Care Inspectorate, positive staffing culture and an excellent relationship with key stakeholders in the area.

The provider is looking for an experienced Registered Manager, someone who has managed a care home service, who can help drive on recent successes and empower staff to provide the best care possible and achieve a 5’s in line with Care Inspectorate requirements.  

The Candidate                                      

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to run a successful care home, with a positive staff culture and compliant in line with Care Inspectorate requirements. This position requires a positive person who can motivate and empower a competent staff team, as well as being commercially savvy and ensure the service goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care for its residents.

Location                      

This role is based in West Glasgow with easy access to the M8 and the city centre.

Interview Process                      

The interview process will be in a 2-stage format.                       

Stage one: teams call: Chief Operating Officer

Stage two: face to face: Chief Operating Officer & Operations Manager      

Summary                      

My client is seeking a Registered Manager with exposure to management within a care home, where the successful candidate can lead on running a successful home in line with Care Inspectorate requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of £65k - £70k per annum + bonus & benefits.
