Clinical Director | Independent Veterinary Group

£70,000 + Benefits + Equity

Lancashire Based Multi-Site Business

Are you a Vet looking for a step-up?

Want equity in a successful business that is looking to grow?

We’re supporting a growing veterinary organisation based in the Northwest of England who are seeking a Clinical Director to lead their team. It is a newly created post as, previously, the lead vets would manage the clinical team and report into the owners.

The new Clinical Director will be a confident, all round GP Vet with a real passion for leadership, clinical excellence and the development & progression of the veterinary field. You will still spend time working clinically so a strong understanding of consulting, medicine and surgery is critical for success. On top of this, you will work closely with the Senior Directors on non-clinical areas like financial forecasting, budgeting, staff reviews, recruitment, business performance (EBITDA) etc.

This is a full-time position that would require some weekend availability (currently around 1 weekend every 8 weeks).

The business has over 100 staff total including a large team of Vets and RVNs who will all report into you. They’ve multiple sites across Preston and Lancashire so flexibility to drive between sites is a bonus.

Remuneration:

Alongside a salary of circa £70,000, and equity in the business, we are proud to offer:

  • 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays
  • External CPD fully funded
  • Memberships paid
  • Staff discount scheme
  • Enhanced sickness pay
  • Wellbeing programmes
  • Great pension scheme
