Clinical Lead – Elderly Nursing Home

Location: Bristol

Salary: £52,000 per annum

Qualification: RGN or RMN Required (Active NMC Pin -  good general nursing skills essential)

 

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a reputable elderly nursing home provider, who are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join the leadership team at one of their well-established services in Bristol.

 

This large and successful home provides residential, nursing and dementia care to older adults and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. The service benefits from strong staffing levels, minimal agency usage and a supportive senior management team, making it an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Lead looking for their next challenge.

 

This role would suit an existing Clinical Lead, Unit Manager or Deputy Manager looking to progress their career within a well-supported environment. The provider is also open to considering ambitious nurses with leadership experience who are ready to take the next step into management.

 

The Role

As Clinical Lead, you will:

  • Support the Home Manager and wider leadership team in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Provide clinical leadership across nursing and care teams
  • Lead, mentor and develop nursing staff to maintain high standards of care
  • Support clinical governance, audits, care planning and compliance processes
  • Ensure residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care at all times
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting best practice throughout the service
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent outcomes for residents

Candidate Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

  • RGN or RMN qualification with an active NMC pin
  • Previous experience working within a nursing home environment
  • Strong clinical knowledge of elderly care and dementia nursing
  • Leadership experience as a Clinical Lead, Unit Manager, Deputy Manager or similar role
  • Excellent communication, organisational and people management skills
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care to older adults
  • The ability to lead by example and support the development of clinical teams

Stage 2: Face-to-face interview at the home
