Hours: Full-time, permanent – 40 hours a week (Mon-Fri, with flexibility as required)

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a highly reputable, family-run care provider seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a specialist challenging behaviour and dementia care unit within a modern, purpose-built medium size service.
The home is currently rated “Good” with CQC and has maintained full occupancy for several years. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, hands-on leader to join a stable organisation that prioritises care quality, staff development, and service excellence, with a shared goal of achieving Outstanding in its next inspection.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a confident and experienced Home Manager with a strong background in managing services that support residents with challenging behaviour, complex needs, or mental health conditions.
A nursing qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) is preferred; however, exceptional non-nursing candidates with extensive management experience in similar settings will also be considered.
The successful candidate will be a proactive leader who can motivate and support a multidisciplinary team, ensuring outstanding standards of care, compliance, and safeguarding across the service.

The recruitment process will consist of two stages:
Stage One: Informal visit and discussion with the management team
Stage Two: Formal interview with the Operations Director and senior stakeholders

The home is easily commutable from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Crewe, Sandbach, Congleton, Alsager, Leek, Stone, Cheadle, and surrounding areas across South Cheshire.
