Equine Veterinary Surgeon – Ambulatory | Independent Practice 

Up to £60k DOE + Turnover Bonus

This independent practice are looking for another equine vet to join their team due to continued growth! 

 

This is a hands-on ambulatory position managing a varied caseload, including lameness work-ups, performance assessments, joint medications, and routine care. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues while maintaining autonomy over your day, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a positive team culture.

 

The role offers the opportunity to support the practice’s growth and development, take on new cases, and help strengthen client relationships, all while thriving in a friendly and supportive environment that values initiative, tenacity, and a good sense of humour. The current team are friendly and supportive with a mix of vets and non-clinical members of staff. 

 

We are seeking a confident and personable veterinary surgeon with at least 2 years post-qualification experience, ideally with some ambulatory exposure. The successful candidate will be a team player while also being capable of working independently. You should be approachable, able to build strong client relationships, and comfortable thinking on your feet.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Equine Veterinary Surgeon

  • 2+ years’ experience (ambulatory experience desirable)

  • Confident working independently and collaboratively

  • Strong client communication and relationship skills

 

Location:

 

The surgery is located in Sudbury with excellent transport links to Braintree, Chelmsford, Bishops Stortford, Colchester, Cambridge, Ipswich and surrounding areas.
