Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued client in their recruitment for an experienced Registered Home Manager for their medium sized luxury care home near Honiton. This is a chance to join a reputable national provider with good support systems along with taking over management of a home with stable foundations.
This role would suit a Home Manager that is passionate about care and has experience successfully managing a luxury service for older people. You will be required to focus on providing high-quality person-centred care in line with CQC regulations, supporting/developing a new staff team along with ensuring the financial performance of the home, maximising occupancy, and fostering community engagement.
The Candidate
The successful candidate must have experience as a Home Manager and show you have a strong understanding of CQC criteria, along with having a track history of achieving 'Good' - 'Outstanding' CQC reports. Candidates do not need to be nurse-qualified (though desirable), and you will need to be confident in your ability to manage teams.
The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that they have the capability to run a successful care
service. The position requires a confident, positive person who can motivate a staff team, ensure that first class care is always delivered and understand the expectations of working within a high-end environment. You should embody quality and care driven values bringing stability after a long-tenured manager's departure while addressing staffing and occupancy challenges.

Location
The home is based near Honiton and would be a suitable commute from Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Sidmouth, Exmouth and Tiverton.
