Integrative/EMDR Therapist

Permanent, Part-time, 15h/week

An established and highly regarded private healthcare service is seeking an Integrative/EMDR Therapist to join its multidisciplinary therapeutic team. This is a part-time position (15 hours per week) supporting adults experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, addictions, and eating difficulties.

You will join a compassionate clinical environment known for delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological care, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed, person-centred practice.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver trauma-focused therapy using EMDR as a core modality, integrating additional therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, psychodynamic, or person-centred).
  • Complete thorough client assessments and create tailored treatment plans, particularly for individuals presenting with complex trauma.
  • Provide one-to-one therapy for adults experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, and related difficulties.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in accordance with organisational and professional standards.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and commit to ongoing professional development.

 

 

Candidate Requirements

 

  • A recognised qualification in counselling, psychotherapy, or psychology.
  • Accredited training and certification in EMDR therapy.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering integrative trauma-focused therapy combining EMDR with complementary modalities.
  • Strong understanding of complex trauma, PTSD, and related mental health presentations.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, formulation, and treatment-planning skills.
  • Empathetic, resilient, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
  • Commitment to professional growth, supervision, and ethical practice.
