Compass Associates are excited to partner with a highly regarded SEN school in Durham to recruit a passionate Speech and Language Therapist. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within a multi-disciplinary team, working alongside Speech and Language Therapist, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and other specialists. You will be supporting young people with a variety of needs including ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and SLCN.
The School Environment
This school offers a range of specialist facilities such as the ‘Ready to Learn’ session, where pupils settle in, share thoughts, and engage in reading. Their library provides a peaceful sanctuary for quiet study, while weekly forest school activities teach fire-building, outdoor cooking, and survival skills.
