Location: Nottingham
Salary: £27,000 – £33,000 (DOE) + Monthly Bonus and Benefits
Employment Type: Full-Time – Tuesday to Saturday, 09:00 – 17:30

Established in 2008, this boutique practice is celebrated for its cutting-edge approach, premium eyewear collections, and an unwavering commitment to personalised patient care.
We are now seeking a passionate and motivated Optical Assistant to join the front-of-house team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in optics. With full support, mentorship and funding available, this role offers a clear progression route to becoming a fully qualified Dispensing Optician.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering exceptional patient experiences from welcome to aftercare
Support patients with frame styling and lens advice under supervision
Learn to work with a wide variety of lens types and manufacturers
Take part in styling events, social media content, and in-practice initiatives
Undertake formal training toward GOC registration as a Dispensing Optician
About You:
Previous experience in optics or retail/customer service preferred, but not essential
A genuine interest in fashion, eyewear, and delivering exceptional service
Ambition to become a qualified Dispensing Optician (training route provided)
Friendly, proactive, and a confident communicator
Keen to learn in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
