About the Role:

Compass Associates are working with a leading optical provider to recruit an Optometrist for a well-established practice in Royston - Hertfordshire. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of clinical services at the store. The role offers a strong salary package, work-life balance, car allowance and a supportive working environment.

• Salary: £60,000 – 70,000 (pro rata) depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver thorough and professional eye examinations using high-quality equipment
• Independently manage the clinical operation as the sole in-store Optometrist
• Provide tailored recommendations and referrals where appropriate
• Ensure all patient records and clinical procedures are compliant and accurate
• Collaborate with the wider store team to maintain excellent customer care standards

Role Details:

• Average Patient time: 30 minutes
• Schedule: 3–4 days per week, Monday to Saturday
• Hours: 09:00 – 17:30 with a 1-hour lunch break
• Saturdays: Required depending on Applicant

Candidate Requirements:

• GOC registered Optometrist
• Minimum 6-12 Months experience, ideally 2 years post-qualification experience
• Comfortable working as the sole Optometrist on-site
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-first care
