Role Overview
This role is ideal for an Optometrist with 2–3 years post-registration experience, who is eager to expand their clinical skillset. Full specialist training will be provided, including refractive, cataract, and glaucoma pathways. You'll be working in a modern clinic environment where patient care is paramount and continuous professional development is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering essential and advanced eye examinations
Supporting ophthalmologists with clinical assessments
Conducting pre- and post-operative consultations for cataract and refractive procedures
Requirements
GOC Registered
Minimum 2 years UK post-registration experience
BSc in Optometry
Strong clinical decision-making and interpersonal skills
Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team
Prior experience in a private or clinical setting is a plus
