Senior Paediatric Nurse (RCN) – Hospice & Community Care -JOINING BONUS

Location: Barnet, North London
Salary: Up to £51,400 DOE + £5,000 JOINING BONUS +Fantastic Benefits
Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours (Mainly Day Shifts)

We are looking for a compassionate, skilled Paediatric Nurse to provide high-quality palliative and respite care both at our hospice and in children's homes across North London.

The Role

• Deliver specialist palliative, respite, and symptom management care.

• Work mainly day shifts, with some weekends (up to 2 weekends/month).

• Support children at the hospice and in their homes, giving families vital breaks.

• Flexible working options including some work-from-home days for paperwork.

• Protected study days every other week to support your career development.

• Provide clinical leadership to Band 5 Nurses and Specialist Carers.

• Collaborate with NHS and community healthcare services.

Shifts

• Mainly 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

• Up to 2 weekends per month (long day or night shifts).

• Weekend shifts reduce your weekday workload.

• Informal discussions about shift patterns are available.

What You’ll Need

• Registered Children's Nurse (RCN) – Band 5 or Band 6.

• At least 1 year’s experience in nursing children with complex needs.

• Palliative care experience is required.

• Confident working independently and within a close-knit team.

• A full UK driving licence and access to a car.

• A positive, caring attitude with a passion for making a difference.
