Salary: £48,250 - £58,250 (Dependent on Experience)
Working Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday) or Compressed Hours (5 days in 4)

Compass Associates is pleased to partner with a well-respected provider of specialist mental health services in the search for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join their dynamic team at a rehabilitation and recovery service in Hook, Hampshire. This role provides the opportunity to deliver a wide range of psychological interventions across multiple wards for adults with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, and autism.
As a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping treatment plans, conducting assessments, and delivering therapies that promote recovery, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver structured 1:1 and group therapeutic interventions tailored to individual recovery goals.
Undertake psychological assessments and risk evaluations to support collaborative care planning.
Work alongside medical and nursing teams to deliver cohesive, person-centred care.
Contribute to MDT meetings, ensuring clinical input drives quality outcomes.
Provide supervision and mentorship to junior psychology staff.
Engage in service improvement activities, audits, and relevant research to enhance care delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
Registered with the HCPC as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
Experience within inpatient mental health settings is desirable but not essential.
Confident in applying a range of evidence-based psychological approaches.
Skilled in managing complex cases and collaborating within a clinical team.
