Why This Role?

If you’re a GP who loves the idea of longer consultations, protected admin time, and time-rich patient care in a premium private healthcare setting, this role is for you.

No rushed 10-minute appointments here. Instead, you’ll see engaged, motivated patients with appointment lengths ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the screening.

This allows you to build relationships, practise real preventative medicine, and deliver care you can be proud of.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver comprehensive private GP and health screening services

  • Take a proactive, preventative approach to health — from detailed history-taking to lifestyle coaching

  • Perform core procedures including blood tests, ECGs, vaccinations, and smear tests

  • Leverage advanced diagnostics with rapid access to world-class consultants and facilities for your patients

  • Enjoy true continuity of care, guiding patients from assessment through to referral and follow-up

What We Offer

  • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing with service

  • Private medical healthcare for you and your family

  • Enhanced maternity, paternity & adoption pay

  • Paid study leave and indemnity cover

  • Private pension with increasing contributions

  • Career development opportunities — internal & external courses, leadership training, specialist clinics

  • Life assurance, critical illness cover, season ticket loans, cycle-to-work scheme, and wellbeing perks

About You

  • GMC registered and on the GP register (performers list not required)

  • Confident in performing bloods and ECGs (training provided for additional screening procedures)

  • Excellent communicator with a patient-first mindset

  • Genuine interest in preventative medicine, lifestyle medicine, and personalised healthcare

  • Previous private patient experience welcome, but not essential

Why Apply?

This is medicine as it should be — unhurried, patient-focused, and deeply rewarding. You’ll have the time, tools, and support to deliver outstanding care while enjoying a work-life balance that’s rare in general practice.
