At present, we are in search for a focused Quality Assurance Manager to actively lead on the implementation of clinical governance and assurance frameworks within the centre. This position will play a pivotal role in overseeing quality assurance and ensuring that compliance with all healthcare regulatory requirements is embedded in both clinical and non-clinical teams across our unique, private patient day-case centre and in the on-going development of our world class patient care. We require an individual who can ensure that the best practice standards become part of the day-to-day business for the Welbeck centre, through collaboration, partnership and close working relationships with centre leadership and core teams.
This Quality Assurance Manager position is a senior managerial position, promoting clinical leadership though all aspects of the role by initiating optimal clinical standards, and facilitating effective communications with clinicians and teams. You will be supported by the Clinical Services Director and will build a close working relationship with the Registered Manager, CCO and Clinical Quality Team to implement specific projects for compliance and improvements.

Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of transparency, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Champion clinical governance, providing training and support to staff at all levels.
- Use data and benchmarking to drive innovation and share best practice.
- Lead the centre’s quality and governance programmes to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Analyse quality, safety, and performance data to identify trends and drive improvement.
- Produce clear, insightful governance reports for senior committees.
- Maintain full regulatory compliance, supporting the centre to achieve ‘Good’ or higher CQC ratings.
- Lead inspection readiness and coordinate post-inspection action plans.
- Manage responses to external audits and ensure timely implementation of improvements.
- Oversee the complaints and incident management process, ensuring effective investigation, resolution, and learning.
- Coordinate centre-wide audits and ensure findings drive measurable improvements in patient care.
What can you bring?
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration OR AHP with HCPC Registration
- Right to Work in the UK
- Knowledge of the components of quality governance including risk management
- Experience in working in quality governance in a healthcare environment
- Have experience of CQC inspections and/or readiness
- Excellent report and letter writing skills
- Compassionate individual with the drive for excellent patient care
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
