Regional Operations Manager (Interim – 6 Months)
Location: Scotland (East Ayrshire base, travel to Glasgow required)

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a leading national organisation in the adult social care sector, seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to provide interim leadership and operational oversight across services in Scotland.

 

The Role

This is a key leadership position, reporting to the Head of Service. You will oversee the smooth running of multiple adult supported living services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered consistently. You will also drive quality improvement, operational performance, and staff development initiatives, while leading on critical workstreams such as agency staff eradication and assistive technology integration.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational oversight and leadership across adult services in the region
  • Line manage and support Registered Managers
  • Lead service performance monitoring and continuous improvement
  • Drive the implementation of digital care planning systems
  • Develop and oversee regional action plans to eliminate agency staffing
  • Ensure services meet regulatory, safeguarding, and legislative requirements
  • Promote a person-centred, inclusive, and rights-based care model
  • Support training compliance and staff professional development

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a confident and autonomous leader with a strong background in operational management within adult social care. You must be comfortable managing teams, interpreting service performance data, and driving forward strategic improvements.

 

This is a six-month interim role, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and make a tangible impact quickly.
