JOB TITLE: Registered Care Home Manager - Complex Care

HOURS: Full Time, 40 hours per week

LOCATION: Leicester

SALARY: From £65,000 plus bonus

COMPANY:

Compass Associates are currently partnering alongside a growing Specialist Healthcare provider, who also has a portfolio of Mental Health, Neuro and Learning Disability and Elderly homes in the UK. Together, we are seeking an inspiring Registered Home Manager in the Leicester area.

As the Registered Home Manager, you will be working directly with the Operations Manager and be responsible for a brand-new home specialising in Neuro Disabilities, Mental Health and other complex care requirements.

 

ROLE:

The home, which opened 18 months ago, provides care for adults living with complex mental health conditions, dementia, neuro-disabilities, and physical disabilities. As the Home Manager, you will lead by example, overseeing all aspects of service delivery, ensuring quality care, and managing a growing team. You will be responsible for developing the service, maintaining compliance with CQC standards, improving team performance, and driving occupancy levels. This is a dynamic role with the opportunity to shape a new service in a state-of-the-art facility.

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience as a Registered Manager in a similar setting, preferably with experience in complex care
  • Nurse qualified with valid NMC PIN (preferred, but not essential)
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on recruitment, development, and performance management
  • Strong track record of maintaining CQC standards and delivering high-quality care
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with external stakeholders, including commissioners and professionals
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Experience in financial management, data analysis, and managing occupancy
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive continuous improvement in service delivery
