Job Title: Registered Locality Manager – Adult Care
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Mon to Fri, with shared on-call responsibilities
Location: Mildenhall - East Anglia

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a newly created leadership role overseeing a cluster of high-quality services supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex or challenging behaviours across East Anglia.

 

The Role

 

As the Registered Locality Manager, you will hold CQC registration for five services one residential and four supported living supporting 15 residents with complex needs.

 

You will be a visible, hands-on leader who ensures quality, stability, and a strong person-centred culture across all locations. Reporting to senior management, you will have operational autonomy to drive service improvements, tackle challenges, and embed a culture of compassion, and professional growth.

 

As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations across five services supporting adults with complex needs.

  • Hold CQC registration and ensure full compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

  • Manage, support, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, promoting a stable, person-centred, and culture.

  • Oversee recruitment, rota management, and resource allocation to reduce agency usage and maintain safe staffing.

  • Collaborate with senior management, HR, and finance teams to ensure services meet organisational and budgetary goals.

  • Maintain visibility across all locations, engaging with staff, residents, and families to uphold high-quality care.

  • Drive service stability, staff development, and culture change during a period of transition.

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and take ownership of action plans following CQC inspections.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior operational role overseeing multiple services.

  • At least 5–10 years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex or challenging behaviours.

  • Strong understanding of CQC compliance, inspections, and quality assurance frameworks.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Experience managing staffing challenges, recruitment, and rota planning.

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards it.

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the rural nature of the services.
