Hourly Rate: £23.00 + paid breaks

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent / 36 - 48 hours a week

We are excited to be partnering with a well-established and reputable care home provider with several services across the UK. They are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis at their large-sized nursing home in Leighton Buzzard.

Residents are treated to a varied menu of delicious, nutritious meals prepared by skilled in-house chefs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitoring residents’ health and reporting any changes
  • Developing and updating individual care plans
  • Providing wound care and managing chronic conditions
  • Supporting residents with daily activities as needed
  • Coordinating with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Supervising care staff and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Responding to emergencies and providing first aid
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Offering emotional support to residents and their families
  • Promoting a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 6 months experience in a clinical position within an elderly care home setting.
  • Registered Nurse (RMN/RGN/RNLD) with an active NMC Pin, with experience in elderly care settings.
  • A compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of elderly residents.
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills, with a passion for providing high-quality care.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
