Consultant Rheumatologist
Location: Fully Remote (UK)

Minimum Commitment: 8 hours per week (2 x 4-hour sessions)
Salary: £190,000 – £210,000 FTE (pro rata)

Compass Associates are partnering with a leading UK-based, digital-first healthcare provider operating within a rapidly expanding specialist prescribing space.
We are seeking a Consultant Rheumatologist to join a forward-thinking, multidisciplinary clinical team delivering innovative, patient-centred care through a fully remote platform.

The Role
You will:
- Conduct remote patient consultations (15-minute appointments)
- Assess and manage chronic musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions such as fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and persistent inflammatory pain syndromes
- Explore specialist prescribing pathways where appropriate
- Contribute to clinical governance and maintain robust patient care standards
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team including nurses and pharmacists
- Participate in ongoing training and CPD-accredited specialist education
The model allows Consultants to focus on prescribing and patient care, while nurses and pharmacists manage pre-consultation triage and post-consultation follow-up.

- Fully remote position
- Flexible working hours and days
- Standard session length: 4 hours
- Minimum requirement: 2 sessions per week (8 hours)
- No night shifts
- No on-call commitments
- No procedural or infusion workload

Requirements
- Full GMC Registration
- Completion of Specialist Training (CCST/CCT) or equivalent
- On the GMC Specialist Register for Rheumatology
- Interest in innovative therapeutic pathways
- Willingness to engage in structured data collection and governance processes
