About the Role

Compass Associates is proud to partner with the UK’s most trusted eye care specialist in their search for a Senior Ophthalmic Scrub Practitioner. This state-of-the-art hospital collaborates with leading consultants to deliver a range of ophthalmic services, including:

• Cataract surgeries
• Laser eye treatments
• Lens replacement
• Vitrectomies
• Diagnostic testing

This position is ideal for a scrub practitioner eager to join a skilled and professional team. While experience in ophthalmology is advantageous, training and development are available for the right candidate.

Essential Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
• Current NMC/HCPC registration
• Previous scrub nurse experience (any specialty)
• Ophthalmic experience (desirable but not essential)
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Computer literate with excellent communication skills
• Positive, flexible attitude with problem-solving abilities

The hospital is based in Brighton, and commutable from the surrounding areas.
