A rare opportunity has arisen for an Theatre Manager to join a distinguished private hospital in Central London. This senior leadership position offers the platform to influence the future of surgical services at one of the capital’s most respected hospitals.

Role Overview:

The Theatre Manager will assume full operational and clinical responsibility for the hospital’s suite of operating theatres, ensuring seamless service delivery, clinical excellence, and an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership across all perioperative services, setting and maintaining the highest clinical standards.
• Collaborate closely with renowned consultants, clinical directors, and executive teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Oversee operational performance, workforce planning, and financial management within the theatres.
• Uphold compliance with all relevant regulatory, governance, and infection control standards.
• Mentor, inspire, and develop a skilled multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Lead service development projects, including the introduction of new surgical specialisms and technologies.

Candidate Profile:

• NMC or HCPC registered, with extensive leadership experience in perioperative services.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex theatre departments within high-end healthcare environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Strategic thinker with a strong focus on patient safety, operational efficiency, and staff development.
• Experience within private healthcare or premium clinical settings (highly advantageous).
