We are inviting applications for a new vet to join a growing, independent veterinary practice in Farnborough.
The Role:
We are happy to be flexible for both full and part time applicants, and do seek some weekends commitment. This can be a mix of different shift patterns and we can discuss what hours you would be ideally seeking.
We are proud to have our vets be able to get stuck in with any and all cases. You would look after a varied client list and offer both medical and surgical care for patients, as well as helping develop and upskill yourself and other staff. All general practice, first opinion cases come through our doors, and we are lucky to have a good amount of exotics on top of our usual small animals. You should enjoy being able to connect with our pet owners and be confident with routine cases to hit the ground running, though we are happy to support development of surgeons in their niches.
We can look to develop a bias in your own case loads to support interests and CPD, however this would depend on our clients needs.
The Organisation:
We have evolved from a small 1 vet practice into one of the market leaders of veterinary care in the Hampshire area employing 15 vet surgeons, 2 dozen RVNs – with plenty support staff on the books as well. Our growth is not stopping any time soon and we are due to open an additional practice later this year. There are 6 consulting rooms, large operating theatres and an amazing imaging room with any piece of equipment you could need.
Across the team, we have access to all things general practice, and are lucky to be supported by advanced practitioners to offer orthopaedic referrals, CT Scanning and a variety of other 2nd opinion services. Interests range from all things general practice, advanced imaging and referral orthopaedics so we are becoming a real one stop shop for all out clients needs.
The Reward:
We are proud to offer competitive rates for all our staff and are happy to discuss remuneration in more depth. We look to offer from £35,000 to £75,000 for our vets, plus:
