Role: Clinical Unit Manager
Salary: £25.00 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week, including weekday and weekend shifts
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Clinical Unit Manager to join a well-established elderly nursing care service. This is a key leadership position, supporting the management team in overseeing the nursing unit and ensuring high standards of safe, person-centred care.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to step into a management role with genuine scope for development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the effective operation and performance of the nursing team
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance in care planning and clinical delivery
- Support with recruitment, induction, training, and appraisals of nursing staff
- Attend management meetings and provide updates on staffing and resident care
- Maintain rotas and oversee care planning processes
- Monitor CQC standards and liaise with inspectors
- Ensure infection control protocols and relevant legislation are adhered to
About You
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
- Previous experience in a nursing leadership or management role
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance and CQC regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care for older people

Location
This role is based in Waltham Abbey, Essex, and is easily commutable from Cheshunt, Enfield, Loughton, Harlow, and the wider Essex and North London area.
