The National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards celebrate excellence in the support for people with learning disabilities and aim to pay tribute to those individuals or organisations who excel in providing quality care.

The awards represent all areas of care and support for people with learning disabilities and autism within the care sector, whether it be young or older people, supporting people in their own homes, the residential care sector or the voluntary sectors. From frontline staff such as care workers and care managers to people who have made an impact in other ways such as training and innovation.

  • Purpose: These awards aim to honor excellence in the care and support of individuals with learning disabilities and autism, recognizing both individuals and organizations that provide outstanding care.​
  • Nominations: Open to various categories, including frontline staff like care workers and managers, as well as those contributing through training and innovation. The closing date for nominations is 9th May 2025. Shortlisted nominees will participate in interviews with an independent panel of judges on 24th and 25th May 2025. ​
  • Gala Event: Finalists have the opportunity to purchase tables for the gala dinner, which includes a drinks reception, dinner with a celebrity presenter, entertainment, and dancing.
