26th August 2025

Welbeck Health Partners (“WHP”) has today confirmed an exclusive recruitment process outsourcing (“RPO”) agreement with leading healthcare recruitment agency Compass Associates (“CA”).

The partnership, coming into effect at the start of August, is part of WHP’s strategic plans for expansion focusing on opening a new centre for excellence in Oxford, and then a third facility in Cambridge by 2026. This would bring the total of WHP facilities to three, with the flagship Welbeck centre in London hosting over 350 consultants specialising in eighteen areas of expertise across 9 floors in the heart of London.

To facilitate this growth, specialist healthcare recruitment consultancy Compass Associates has been identified to be responsible for all permanent recruitment processes required by WPH on an exclusive basis.

“This centre will revolutionise the quality of private healthcare in the UK outside of London.

It’s critical we collaborate with the region’s leading clinicians and skilled healthcare operators so they can shape our treatment pathways and provide the best patient care experiences. Once open, the centre will prioritise efficiency and quality from the point of a patient booking an appointment to being discharged from their clinician’s care.

It’s exciting to begin our recruitment process ahead of next year’s launch and we’re pleased to partner with Compass Associates to lead the process.”

Natasha King, Centre Director at Welbeck Cambridge, said:

“We are building a centre that will set a new standard for private healthcare in the East of England.

Cambridge has an exceptional healthcare community, and we’re looking forward to working with the region’s top clinical and operational professionals to shape a service that delivers best-in-class care from the first contact to discharge.

Commenting on the agreement, Director of Compass Associates, Stuart Cousins said:

“Having supported Welbeck Health Partners across the last six years, we are delighted to be working closely with the company on such a mission-critical recruitment project.

Welbeck’s quality of service and market reputation makes them an exceptionally well-regarded provider in the healthcare sector, and we are proud to have been identified as the preferred recruitment partner to continue to deliver top talent into the business.

The knowledge of the healthcare recruitment team, and our track record of delivering similar staffing projects for healthcare clients on clinical and acute campaigns throughout our history puts us in a strong position to be able to support Welbeck deliver their growth strategy through the opening of both Welbeck Oxford, and Welbeck Cambridge in 2026.”
