Care Manager – Live-In Care
Location: Eastbourne (Home-based)
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 per annum + mileage allowance (45p per mile)
Contract: Full-time, permanent

 

We are recruiting a Care Manager to oversee a portfolio of 18–20 clients across London, Surrey, or Kent. This is a home-based role with regular travel required to visit clients and care teams. The position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional from a live-in care or domiciliary care background to step into a supportive management role with autonomy and responsibility.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 18–20 clients, ensuring safe, person-centred care delivery.

  • Supervise and support carers, carrying out quality checks and care plan reviews.

  • Maintain compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding requirements.

  • Work independently, managing your own diary effectively.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and care teams.

  • Support service development with a focus on dementia and elderly care (with some clients who have learning disabilities or physical disabilities).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in care delivery, with a strong understanding of what “outstanding care” looks like.

  • Background in live-in care or domiciliary care.

  • Deputy Managers in domiciliary care who are ready to step up will also be considered.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider supportive team.

  • A driver with flexibility to travel across London, Surrey, or Kent.

  • Experience with dementia and elderly care preferred, though other care backgrounds are welcome.

Interview Process:

  • Stage 1: Online interview via Teams.
