Service Manager – Complex Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Needs

Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an established, national provider within Supported Living care, who offer support to adults with complex learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs, to recruit for a Service Manager to oversee their established Supported Living services based in the Liverpool area. You will oversee 2 supported living services, both supporting up to 6 young adults with complex learning disabilities, mental health conditions and associated needs.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within a management position, with exposure to profound learning disabilities and mental health needs.
The Candidate
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the services, including the leadership and management of the staffing team and continuous collaboration with the company’s senior management team. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working alongside your Line Manager, where together you will ensure the residents of the service receive the best care.
You will possess a deep working knowledge of health and social care, and you will also be required to have strong people management and communication skills, as well as sound commercial understanding.

The salary a £31,500 per annum, and benefits including:

Essential Criteria
- Strong background in learning disabilities, mental health, or complex needs
- Level 3 or equivalent/ above qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent experience)
- Proven leadership across multiple sites
- Natural people-leader with coaching and mentoring skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Knowledge of the CQC / KLOES / regulations
- Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
- Clear DBS
Location
This role is based in Liverpool (L13 and L17), and is commutable from Liverpool City Centre, Birkenhead, Widnes, Huyton, Bootle and Warrington.
