Compass Associates were mandated in the search for a Regional Director for a residential care home due to satisfaction with the current partnership in place, and as a result meant that this externally recruitment partnership was completed on an exclusive basis. 

Compass Associates already had a partnership in place and had recently placed a number of other roles successfully prior to taking on this particular role. Due to the client satisfaction with these previous roles, they were more than happy to approach us to fulfil this search. Something that we have always found beneficial at Compass Associates is building relationships through good communication and trust with our clients’ internal recruitment teams, with this mandate being no exception. 

The client was looking for a candidate that had experience in a similar market, was able to oversee new patients and with CQC experience. As a provider of residential care, the client runs on a private fee paying model so it was essential that the successful candidate had experience with the luxury care home markets. Compliance management experience was another essential requirement of this role. 

Once a brief and timescales were agreed, we ensured that good communication was kept with everyone involved throughout the whole process. Compass Associates had a number of candidates that we were working with that matched the experience required by the client. We had one particular candidate with experience that aligned the brief perfectly so therefore put them forward for the interview process. The client offered the candidate the role to which they accepted. Both felt satisfied that they were able to match each other’s experience and requirements. 

This particular mandate had a two-stage interview process and had a quick turnaround with overall completion, from brief to offer and acceptance, being completed within two weeks. Once completed, due to the satisfaction in the completion of this assignment, Compass Associates signed an exclusive partnership with this client. The client also ended all other agreements they had in place with other suppliers.
