COMPANY:

Compass Associates are working with an adult social care provider who have a number of residential and nursing homes throughout the UK. The company are passionate about providing exceptional care and support for people with intellectual disabilities creating a warm and inclusive environment where their service users can live a fulfilling and independent life.

They are seeking an experienced Manager to join them and take on registration with CQC. The service has  34 places in total and provides care for adults with learning disabilities complex needs and dementia.

 

ROLE:

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for improving CQC standards and compliance, ensuring the highest quality of care and support to all service users, supervision and training of staff and developing relationships with local authorities and the local community.

Demonstrate professional leadership and provide ‘hands on’ management support and guidance, managing staff activities and influencing their practices and attitudes. Ensuring that performance standards are identified and met. Take overall responsibility for recruitment, employment and working practises, To include the provision of Induction, training, and support as required, with particular emphasis on our aims, values, and high-performance standards. This includes the planning and management of annual leave of all staff designations to always ensure the safe running of the service.

 

CANDIDATE Requirements :

  • The ideal candidate for this post will hold a Level 5 NVQ or be working towards and be a car driver.
  • Registered Nurse, and active PIN
  • Experience in a management or a deputy position with experience in completing audits, staff supervision/appraisal and HR processes such as recruitment, absence management and rota generation are essential.
  • Applicant must be confident with MCA and DOLs.
  • Experience managing a similar service is desirable
  • Excellent and in-depth knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
  • Strong people management skills, communicator, team player

PROCESS:

Two stage interview process, the first is a teams with Regional manager, second stage is a panel interview with the SLT and CEO
