Compass Associates are proud to be working alongside a valued client in their search for a Registered Manager for their luxury elderly nursing home within the Portsmouth area. The home enjoys an outstanding reputation within the local area and maintains strong ties with the community. We are seeking an exceptional Manager to lead the home and its dedicated team as they embrace an exciting new care model across the group.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be at the heart of driving transformational care. You’ll create a vibrant and nurturing culture, ensuring residents live their best lives through holistic care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspiring and managing a team to provide exceptional care in line with the Butterfly Approach model.
• Creating a warm, family-like atmosphere where every resident feels valued and understood.
• Maintaining high standards of care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement.
• Promoting dignity, choice, and independence for every resident.
• Fostering positive relationships with families, staff, and the wider community.
• Overseeing financial operations to ensure sustainable and efficient running of the home.

Requirements

• Proven management experience in a residential care setting, ideally with knowledge of the Butterfly Approach or other person-centered care models.
• A relevant management qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent)
• A deep commitment to improving the lives of residents and creating meaningful relationships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
• An innovative approach to fostering joy, engagement, and emotional well-being in a care setting.
