Salary: £67,705 per annum + car allowance + mileage

- Previous experience of line managing a team of Registered Home Manager’s
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks
- Travel across Greater Manchester and Staffordshire
- Background within residential and dementia care homes
The Role
Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a well-established care provider who operate a portfolio of residential care homes for older adults. They are currently seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee six care homes across Greater Manchester and Staffordshire.
This role will focus on providing operational leadership and strategic oversight across the portfolio, supporting Home Managers to maintain strong standards of care, compliance and occupancy. The Area Manager will take a proactive approach to analysing performance trends across the homes, identifying opportunities for improvement and reporting insights back to senior leadership.
You will work closely with the Home Managers to drive forward initiatives collaboratively, ensuring services continue to deliver high-quality care while planning ahead for future challenges and opportunities.
Candidate
The successful candidate will be an experienced multi-site leader within the elderly care sector, ideally with a background as a Registered Manager before progressing into regional or area management.
You will bring a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, quality improvement and operational performance, alongside the ability to support and develop Home Managers across multiple services. My client are seeking someone with a collaborative leadership style, a leader able to win the trust and respect of experienced Home Managers while providing clear direction and guidance. The ability to work closely with managers, share ideas and drive improvements as a collective team will be essential.
Candidates should also be comfortable reviewing service performance metrics, analysing trends and implementing practical solutions that support both quality of care and operational success.
