The Role
Compass Associates are proud to be working alongside a fantastic client who are looking to appoint an experienced leader to a care home located around the Harrogate area. This opportunity would suit a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager with a strong background in elderly care and an understanding of how to deliver high quality within a regulated environment.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience of managing an elderly care home, alongside a strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks. They will be confident in maintaining compliance, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the home consistently delivers safe, effective and compassionate care.
Candidate
I’m keen to speak with an existing Home Manager or Deputy Manager (looking for a step up) to lead an elderly care home with confidence, compassion and integrity. You’ll have a good knowledge of CQC requirements and inspection processes, and the experience to keep standards high while continuously looking for ways to improve.
I’m looking for someone who leads in a collaborative, supportive way and enjoys coaching and developing others. Someone who can connect easily with residents, families and staff, and who is confident working with external stakeholders such as commissioners, health professionals and regulators. You’ll represent the service with credibility and warmth, helping to build trust and a solid reputation.

The role is commutable from: Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, Easingwold, Thirsk, Skipton, Ilkley, Otley, Horsforth, Roundhay, Wetherby and Kirk Hammerton.
Summary
My client are looking for either a Deputy Manager ready to progress their career or an existing Registered Manager looking to join a lovely care home with a fantastic internal culture. You’ll be personable and hold an attention to detail, able to lead and foster strong relationships. In return, my client are offering the opportunity to join a supportive business, alongside a salary of circa £40,000 per annum.
