Location: Accrington, Lancashire
Salary: £47,000 per annum
Requirement: NMC Pin & Previous Experience as Deputy manager
Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 08:00am – 04:00pm

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a respected care provider to appoint a Clinical Deputy Manager within an established elderly nursing home in the Accrington area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse leader who is passionate about high-quality care and supporting the smooth running of a home. The position offers a balance of supernumerary hours alongside floor-based support, giving you both leadership and hands-on involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager in overseeing clinical standards and governance.
Lead, mentor and develop the nursing and care team.
Drive audits, care planning, and regulatory compliance.
Assist with occupancy management by supporting admissions and filling beds.
Share weekend on-call duties with the Home Manager.
About You:
Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN.
Strong background in elderly nursing homes (essential).
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of dementia care (though the home does not specialise in complex care).
Confident in audits, clinical governance and care planning.
