Are you a senior veterinary surgeon looking for a step up?

Seeking more autonomy and scope?

We are supporting a growing non-profit based in Birmingham as they seek a new Veterinary Surgeon to manage their practice.

The Practice:

We are a first opinion, days only surgery based in Birmingham, and use a local corporate hospital for our OOH. We have referrals for cases from all across the West Midlands from both privately paying patients and charity referrals for certain cases. On site, we have: Digital and dental x-ray. Ultrasound x2, large theatres and consult rooms, separate wards and fantastic staff areas. We have 3 vets and 3 RVNs on site on any one day, focused on either medical consults, operations or inpatients. Our caseload continues to grow with our team and facilities; long term we will add to the practice and have plenty of space for it!

We see a variety of cases ranging from shelter medicine referrals, spays, castrates, orthopaedics, imaging, RTAs and ECC and a whole lot more! An interest in all things GP is needed. The new Clinical Director will have plenty of autonomy to manage their own cases, help develop the team and work with our Practice Manager on non-clinical / admin duties. (circa 75% of your time will be clinically biased in some capacity)
