The Role
Compass Associates are pleased to be working alongside a valued client who operate a strong portfolio of elderly care homes across the UK, these homes provide a mixture of general nursing, residential and dementia care to elderly residents. The group have a recent vacancy in the business, they are looking for a Registered Manager for a small sized care home located around the Halifax area.
The role joins a settled Deputy Manager and reports into a well-embedded, supportive senior management structure. The home itself is situated in an ideal location and benefits from a fantastic internal culture, with a team committed to providing person centered care for their residents.
Candidate
I’m looking for an experienced Registered Manager with an active nursing pin and an appetite for quality care. You’ll be able to evidence previous CQC inspections and be comfortable networking with commissioners, the LA etc. As a leader, you’ll understand the importance of providing ongoing support to staff and focus on staff retention, ensuring you can maintain a valued team.
Ideally, you’ll be commercially savvy with an exposure to handling budgets and an attention to detail when it comes to quality and governance.

The role is commutable from: Todmorden, Rochdale, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Leeds, Bradford, Keighley and Brighouse.
Summary
My client are seeking a (RGN, RMN, RNLD) Registered Manager to join a small elderly care home based around the Halifax area. The successful candidate will be a visible leader with a solid understanding of CQC single assessment framework, how to build links across the local community and how to continually develop their staff team.
