We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new luxury care home in Staffordshire, offering specialist nursing, dementia, and residential care. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new service from the ground up, recruit and develop a dedicated team, and establish a home recognised for delivering exceptional standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the successful commissioning and operational launch of the new nursing, dementia, and residential care home.

Recruit, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, creating a positive and supportive culture from day one.

Ensure the home is fully CQC-ready by embedding strong governance, quality, and compliance frameworks.

Drive occupancy, build the home's reputation within the local community, and deliver strong commercial performance.

Develop lasting relationships with local authorities, commissioners, hospitals, GPs, residents, families, and other key stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as a Home Manager or Commissioning Manager within elderly care.

NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent).

Nurse qualified (RGN/RMN) is desirable but not essential.

A proven track record of achieving positive CQC outcomes, developing successful teams, and increasing occupancy.

A commercially minded leader with excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.
Location
The home is located in Staffordshire and is easily commutable from Wolverhampton, Stafford, Cannock, Walsall, Telford, Lichfield, and Stoke-on-Trent.
