We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new 70+ bedded residential and dementia care home in Nottingham. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new service, recruit and develop a dedicated team, and ensure the home delivers the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission and operationally lead the new service, covering residential and dementia care.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing staff team to deliver outstanding care.
• Ensure CQC readiness from day one, embedding strong governance and compliance frameworks.
• Drive occupancy and financial performance, ensuring long-term success and sustainability.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, residents, families, and other key stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager, Business Development Manager, or Home Manager in residential or dementia care.
• Strong marketing, commissioning, and occupancy growth experience within the care sector.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards) preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in CQC compliance, team development, and driving occupancy.
• Strong leadership, communication, and commercial skills.
• Compassionate, approachable, and committed to delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Location

The role is based in Nottingham, easily accessible from surrounding areas including Derby, Mansfield, Newark-on-Trent, West Bridgford, and Leicester.
