Title: Deputy Home Manager
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Salary: £22.14 – £23.14 per hour
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week - Full-time, Permanent
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to join a well-established elderly nursing care service in Burton-on-Trent.
In this pivotal role, you will:
Support the Home Manager with day-to-day leadership and management of the service.
Take responsibility for the home in the manager’s absence.
Provide specialist clinical guidance and ensure the highest standards of care.
Supervise, mentor, and coach colleagues to deliver safe, person-centred support.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and professional standards.
About You
We are looking for a confident leader with:
A valid NMC PIN (RGN/RMN/RNLD).
Strong knowledge of the NMC code of practice and national care standards.
Experience in care planning and delivering person-centred care in a care home setting.
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and organisational skills.
A positive, compassionate approach with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
