A highly reputable and well-established care provider is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Home Manager for one of their outstanding purpose-built care homes in the North East. This is an exciting leadership role where you will support the Home Manager and lead a committed team, ensuring residents receive exceptional care in a warm, welcoming, and homely environment.
As Deputy Home Manager, you’ll take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, supervise and coach colleagues, and champion a culture centred on empathy, kindness, and resident-first values.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor colleagues to deliver outstanding care
- Take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence
- Ensure the home consistently exceeds all statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements
- Promote a culture centred on kindness, dignity, and resident wellbeing
- Support effective care planning and maintain meaningful, accurate records
- Build strong, positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate
- Solid understanding of CQC and person-led care planning
- Experience working in a care home environment
- A natural mentor with excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Kind, patient, and able to build meaningful relationships
- Committed to delivering the highest standards of compassionate care
