Job Title: Dual Registered Manager – Residential Services - Adults
Salary: £42,000 per annum

Compass Associates is excited to announce its collaboration with a renowned care provider in the search for an experienced and proactive Registered Manager to lead a dedicated team within a residential environment. This role presents an excellent opportunity to oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. 

 

The Role of Registered Manager:

 

As a Dual Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that high-quality, person-centred support is provided to all service users, in line with organisational objectives, CQC requirements, and statutory guidelines. You will oversee the administrative aspects of home services, including financial arrangements, training, and care planning. This is a demanding role that requires strong leadership and management skills to elevate the standard of care and support provided.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with and provide support to the service-user client base
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date and compliant policies, procedures, and Statements of Purpose
  • Ensure the living environment remains homely, high-quality, and suitable for the needs of service users
  • Manage staffing through effective scheduling, training, and leave planning
  • Participate in the development of familiarisation plans for new residents
  • Ensure adherence to care plan agreements in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions and hold team meetings
  • Maintain records of supervision, team meetings, and staff appraisals
  • Promote ongoing training and development for staff
  • Manage the Support Team to provide effective rehabilitation and wellbeing support

The Ideal Candidate:

 

We are seeking a candidate who meets the following criteria:

  • Experience working with Learning Disabilities and/or complex needs
  • Knowledge and experience with CQC standards
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and service
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Understanding of financial and commercial principles
  • Level 5 in Leadership in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
