Head of Clinic Operations (UK) – Specialist Digital Health Clinic

£55,000 – £75,000 DOE plus performance bonus

Full Time | Permanent

Central London (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced operator who wants to build a clinic from the ground up, own the details that make it work, and see the difference you make for patients and clinicians every day?

This mission-driven digital health business, with an established clinic in the US, is launching its UK clinic and is seeking a Head of Clinic Operations to own its non-clinical operations from the start.

The business exists to make a specialist area of treatment more accessible and trusted within mainstream healthcare. Its UK clinic combines clinical expertise, thoughtful technology and exceptional patient support, and this hire will build the processes, systems and team behind its growth.

This is an opportunity to shape a clinic at an early stage, work closely with the Medical Director and founder, and grow your responsibilities and team as the business develops.

The Role

This position is broader than a traditional practice manager role. You’ll keep a primarily online clinic running smoothly, spotting problems early, bringing the right people together and seeing solutions through, with specialist support from the clinical, technology and finance teams.

Initially hands-on within a lean team, you’ll be as comfortable resolving a patient issue or a payment discrepancy as you are improving workflows and hiring colleagues.

In your first three months, you’ll set up priority workflows, clear responsibilities, service standards and practical reporting, along with a staffing and capacity plan suited to the clinic’s stage. Over time, success means patients get timely support, clinicians have dependable coordination, finances are accurate and recurring problems become less frequent.

You will own:

  • Patient support and experience, ensuring clear communication, timely responses and thoughtful resolution of issues
  • Clinic coordination, keeping appointments, clinician workflows and prescription handovers running smoothly
  • Technology and systems, helping the team use systems effectively and coordinating improvements with technology partners
  • Finance administration, keeping payments, invoices and routine financial administration accurate, supported by the accountant and finance team
  • People and office operations, coordinating onboarding, suppliers and equipment, and helping build and lead the operational team
  • Quality and improvement, maintaining clear processes, monitoring service performance and supporting clinical leadership with compliance

The Clinic

The business has an established US operation and is now building its UK clinic, with a clear purpose of making clinically guided specialist treatment accessible and trusted.

The clinic is primarily online, combining clinician-led care with technology and patient support, so the operation behind it must be reliable, well organised and focused on the patient experience.

The Team & Culture

You’ll report to the Medical Director and work closely with the founder, with support from specialist clinical, technology and finance colleagues.

The team is lean and mission-driven, so you’ll have meaningful ownership from day one. This is a role for someone who takes responsibility, follows things through and wants to build something, not simply maintain it.

As the clinic grows, you’ll have room to build and lead your own operational team.
