Are you an experienced Home Manager looking for an opportunity to lead an established residential care home through an exciting new chapter?

Compass Associates are working with a long-established, family-owned care provider to recruit an experienced Home Manager for a large residential care home in Greater Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operational leader who enjoys developing people, improving services and creating positive working cultures. The successful candidate will join a provider that values autonomy, collaboration and long-term leadership, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine impact on both the home and the people within it.

The Role

As Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of the home.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing the staff team.
• Building a positive culture and improving team morale.
• Ensuring CQC compliance and high-quality care delivery.
• Managing recruitment, retention and workforce planning.
• Developing relationships with residents, families and external professionals.
• Working collaboratively with senior leadership to deliver continuous improvements.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Home Manager or Registered Manager with:

• Previous experience managing a residential elderly care service.
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience improving team performance and operational standards.
• Commercial awareness, including occupancy and staffing management.
• A passion for delivering person-centred care.
• A Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).
