Compass Associates are proud to be working with a growing and forward-thinking care provider that is looking to appoint a commercially driven Home Manager for a well-established nursing and residential care home in Dorchester. The home is medium-sized and currently stable, with a strong clinical structure already in place. The next phase for the home is focused on increasing occupancy and strengthening its commercial performance, making this an exciting opportunity for a manager who thrives on growth and development.
As Home Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for the service, with a particular focus on driving occupancy, building strong local relationships, and ensuring the home continues to deliver high standards of care and compliance. You will be supported by a capable clinical team, allowing you to focus on the strategic and commercial success of the home.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a commercially astute and confident leader with previous experience managing nursing or elderly care homes. You will understand the importance of occupancy, local authority relationships, and private fee growth, and be comfortable positioning a service within the local market.
This role would suit a Home Manager who enjoys taking a stable service to the next level, building on solid foundations to drive performance, reputation, and long-term success. An RGN qualification is preferred; however, strong candidates with a proven background in nursing home management will also be considered.
