About the Role

They are currently looking for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join their experienced team on a full-time, permanent basis at their large nursing home near Almondsbury, Bristol.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality clinical care tailored to elderly residents
• Assess, implement, and regularly review individual care plans
• Administer medication safely and accurately
• Monitor residents' physical and mental health and respond to changes
• Support residents’ emotional well-being in a respectful, person-centred manner
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and colleagues
• Supervise and support care staff, promoting best practices
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safeguarding protocols
• Promote dignity, independence, and a positive home environment
Candidate Requirements
• Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC pin
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in an elderly care home setting
• Strong clinical knowledge with leadership capability
• Compassionate and patient nature, with a commitment to person-centred care
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
