Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum + performance bonus

The Role                          

Compass Associates are partnering with a valued client to support the search for a new Home Manager for an elderly care home based around Stockton-on-Tees. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated leader to take full operational responsibility for an established service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.

 

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the home, leading and developing the staffing team to create a positive, supportive and high-performing culture. A key focus of this role will be centred around recruitment, retention and workforce development, ensuring the home is fully staffed with compassionate and skilled professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional care.

Candidate

Are you an experienced Registered Home Manager with a background of managing an elderly care home providing nursing and residential care?

 

To be considered for the role, you will be able to demonstrate a strong operational background within elderly care, alongside examples of developing and managing successful staffing teams. You will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence across residents, relatives and colleagues alike.

 

Applicants should have a strong understanding of CQC regulations, governance processes and safeguarding responsibilities, alongside the commercial awareness required to drive occupancy growth and maintain financial performance. Experience in recruitment, retention and creating a positive workplace culture will be essential.

The role is commutable from: Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool, Spennymoor, Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe, Darlington, Northallerton, Thirsk, Guisborough and Middlesbrough.
