Quality & Compliance Lead – Health & Social Care
Location: Oxford (with flexibility to travel)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000 per annum (negotiable for exceptional candidates)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to join a reputable care provider in Oxford. This is a brand-new position, created to drive continuous improvement, support regulatory compliance, and maintain the highest standards of safety and person-centred care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care management within domiciliary care, live-in care, or supported living, and will be confident working independently to review, assess, and uplift quality across the service.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all aspects of quality assurance and compliance across care services.

Conduct in-depth audits of care plans, risk assessments, and care delivery processes.

Prepare the service for upcoming CQC inspections, aiming to achieve and maintain a “Good” or higher rating.

Collaborate with Care Managers and operational teams to implement best practice frameworks.

Identify areas for improvement and create clear, actionable quality improvement plans.

Monitor safeguarding practices and work proactively to reduce potential risks.

Produce regular reports for senior leadership highlighting risks, trends, and outcomes.

Keep updated with regulatory and legislative changes relevant to adult social care.

Deliver coaching and guidance to care teams on compliance and quality improvement.
What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a care management or quality assurance role within health and social care.

Strong understanding of CQC regulations, audits, and adult safeguarding.

Background in home care, live-in care, or supported living settings is highly desirable.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication, coaching, and report writing skills.

Able to travel locally as needed for service reviews and audits.
Essential Requirements

Minimum Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or working towards).

Previous experience preparing services for CQC inspections.

Right to work in the UK and current UK driving licence.
